I was amazed when after I tried to read this mess, I came back to the Amazon page and found all the good reviews here. In my opinion, D.D. Scott's formula is to write a book as fast and carelessly and possible, sell it for 99 cents, write a hyperbolic description which is (to use the legal term for complete BS) total puffery, get her friends to give it 5-star reviews and then move on to the next piece of schlock. It disturbs me to see such poor quality books on Kindle, because I think e-books are a great medium for new authors who want to get their talents to readers. But D.D. Scott is one of a handful of authors who are ruining the image of small presses and indie authors by churning out lousy books in volume.

Buckles Me Baby

Buckles Me Baby continues the Bootscootin story line and this time focuses on Roxie's BFF Audrey. This story connects Bootscootin' and the Cozy Cash Mysteries.

I found Bootscootin' Blahniks, I loved the cover and the description had me. The power of FREE! I quickly hit the one click button.
I was immediately hooked. I completed Bootscootin' Blahniks that day, and I was back on Amazon searching for more. I downloaded the Bootscootin Box set and was captivated for the next week. I was having withdrawal!!! I then started searching for more.
My library now contains every book written by DD Scott.
1- Bootscootin Blahniks 2 - Stompin' on Stetsons 3 - Buckles Me Baby 4 - Thug Guard 5 - Lip Glock 6 - Carats and Coconuts

Oh my gosh!!! This was such an awesome, fun-to-read book!! It has a great storyline, so I could hardly put it down. The author really keeps you interested all of the way through. It was funny, romantic, mysterious & intriguing, as the author is quite descriptive in her way with words! I really enjoyed it, & you will too-----a great, quick read!
