This cushion set has really helped in my meditation practice. I feel stable, grounded as well as comfortable while meditating. Before getting the cushion set, it would sometimes be painful on my back and neck, because I could not get the proper posture I needed. That has all been taken care of with the Zafu & Zabuton cushion set. A must have for begginer and advanced meditators.

I first bought a set of these for my husband who is 6'8" tall and had trouble using a standard Zafu and Zabuton during meditiation. They make a set designed specifically for taller folks with a fatter zafu and a larger zabuton...anyway, he raved about them and bemoaned the fact he hadn't had them 30 years ago. Finally, after listening to him thank me over and over again for purchasing them for him, I decided I would treat myself as well. All I can say is "Don't wait another minute!" If you are reading this, order this set. The price is extremely reasonable for the outstanding comfort and quality you will receive. The service also is excellent. When I received the shipping notice it said 7-10 days, yet I received my set in three days. I can't guarantee you'll get that lucky on shipping, but it made my day and I had the feeling that they were really trying to get this product to me ASAP. If your meditiation is serious part of your daily life, and even if it is not, don't wait. Order this now, it is worth every penny!

A couple of points of note:

The previous reviewer who noted that the zabuton may be too small is accurate in his/her assessment. I'm 5'10' and it's perfect, but if you were beyond 6' or so your knees will be beyond the edge of the cushion.

Zafu is very high quality, I really like the buckwheat hull, very stable.

My black pug seems to really like both of the cushions, he lays on the zabuton with his head on the zafu! Keep that in mind if you have dogs! On a positive note he seems very peaceful.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and I am impressed with the quality and comfort. I got it in navy blue and it looks great and the zafu is very comfy on the tush!

The buckwheat zafu and zabuton set are a great assist when starting seated meditation --- especially when you are not able to sit cross-legged for any extended period of time. The price for the set was also very reasonable when compared to other sources.

I'm fairly new at meditating regularly. When I have tried in the past, I was always in pain pretty early on - like within minutes. I thought that was just what was supposed to happen as I've read in many books about the pain of sitting in lotus position. While I'd sat on a variety of meditation cushions in yoga and meditation classes, at home I just sat on a regular pillow or nothing at all. I decided that it was time to get my own zafu for home use, and I got this one based on the reviews.

It's amazing. I can actually sit without pain for the beginning part of my meditation. Staying in any one position for a long time always becomes painful, so the pain does come, but this zafu and zabuton made me realize that my fundamental position had been off on other pillows, causing almost immediate pain. Meditation is a much better experience now. I highly recommend this product.

I found no similar offer here in Poland so I decided for the set despite the high delivery costs (+100%) and customs fees.
Zabuton is "just for me" but for a taller person than 1.6 m I suggest bigger size. It is really rich of Kapok, extremely thick. The same zafu.
This is the private set for a dangerous trip - Do you risk wearing sneakers in high mountains in winter? - This set is like good shoes - you do not have to risk your dhyana trip without proper equipment, it is availabe in Zafustore :). Anyway amazon.com has better, clear order service and I decided to pay again by their website.

Received product in speedy fashion, as described, and am thoroughly enjoying it.
Was to be part of my studios small seating arrangement where everything is low to the ground. Another great item was an adjustable pillow i located which is 3.5ft square and folds like a lawn chair (incrementally adjustable) which is also sharing space with these items and is a big hit with visitors.

This is a terrific product! I should have bought it long ago. I am able to meditate longer and without the stiffness that I used to experience.

In addition, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the shipment arrived - I received it within 3 days after placing the order.

I have been using this product for over a month now. Initially it felt very good because it raises ones pelvis area above the hips making it more easy to sit on the ground. However, in the long run I am finding the seat cushion to be a bit too high and that is causing excessive pressure on ankles and knees, making it not so easy to sit for long meditation sessions. It would be great if the cushion height was adjustable - kind of like stacked cushion plates that could be added or removed depending on the user's preference for usage. Also the cushion is totally flat. I have found cushions with a slight incline to be much better suited for long sittings.
