I previously had a similar product by a different company and despite following the warming instructions, the product would lose "pellets" every time I put it in the microwave. Not so with Bucky products. I've used this a lot and not once has it torn or overheated or anything. And it stays hot for a long time (I've only used it hot, not cold...although I feel it would do fine in the freezer as well). Definitely recommend this product. Stick to the "Bucky" name brands. They are worth the price.

During the winter months our bedroom gets extremely cold. Even if we heat it well with a portable heater our bed always feels like an ice rink. We did research on different solutions and found that Hot Water Bottles invariably leak at some point. The bucky hottie is a fantastic solution to this. Pop it in the microwave for a couple of minutes and then throw it in the bed a few minutes before you get in and it's toasty warm. We used this all through last winter and are looking forward to using it again this winter.

An excellent product worth every penny.

I'm not quite sure why but this wrap isn't quite as nice as our old one. (On the other hand, our old one did eventually rip and become useless... but that was after years of heavy use.) It takes a long time to heat up, doesn't seem to get or stay quite as hot as our old one. It's ok, better than nothing, but I miss our old one that we got at the mall.

I think it's the shape. This is big and flat and floppy. More surface area means the heat dissipates faster; plus it's too big to target a particular muscle. if you put it on an upset tummy it just flops to both sides of you and doesn't warm the target area. (if you fold it isn't stable.) If you lie on it to soothe your back it is too big.

The smell is pleasant and neutral, not perfumy. More like toasty oats.

This product is probably a good one, however I was expecting it to be wider than it actually was. I should have paid more attention to the measurements before ordering, but I'd heard so many good things about it that I didn't check it out well enough. I returned it.
