I didn't realize, when I ordered these luggage tags that they actually "wrap" around luggage handles or secured straps. It's a great design, functional, and does not add any weight to your airline luggage. Also, there is less chance that these tags will get snagged during transit. Personally, I prefer not to wrap it on my collapsible towing handle, so I just wrapped the tag on another handle on the bag. I also put one on a secure accessory strap of my pack, in which, I carry my laptop, etc., as a carry-on. Lastly, I recommend only using only a ball point to write your information on the tag. The surface of the paper is a little slick and my first attempt with a roller ball and gel point, just smeared all over.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stylish and work great!, March 25, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Like many people, I have all black luggage... I purchased two of these to use as luggage tags and to help identify my luggage more easily. They are very well made and the velcro part is massive, these will NOT be coming off your bags on accident. They are great for anything that has a 'handle', I use them on my luggage, backpack, laptop bag, etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Reliable, October 6, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This tag is not only unique, but super reliable. I travel frequently and have had trouble in the past with lost baggage, as a result, I put more than one tag (plus a colorful ribbon) on my checked baggage. While others have fallen off in transit, this one has lasted - what more can you ask!

This review is from: Bucky Identigrip Luggage Identifier, Black, One Size (Apparel)
I have used these type tags before. They are great for identifing your luggage among all of the other simliar bags at carosels. You write your contact information on the inside of the tag so, no one can see it unless it is unwrapped from the handle.

Sturdy, built to last and very noticeable on airport luggage carousel; it is also secure on luggage with extra wide Velcro and additional strap

This tag is very nicely constructed, fits well, very bright (easy ID when needed)

Neoprene padding is nice on the handle once case is full.

This tag has a Velcro-type closure that wraps around your bag's strap or handle. The tag is less likely to be lost during baggage handling IF you also use the cord to wrap around your strap or handle. The tag helps you spot your luggage. If you are like me, you will want to remove the wrap-around tag before gripping the suitcase handle. This can add a minor element of inconvenience, something I never thought about before buying the tag.

In decades of travel I have never experienced a lost tag with other products. So, I am not certain that lost tags are a big issue. Moreover, you have the backup protection of the airline barcode ID that is attached to the luggage, which you can compare to your baggage receipt. Again, this tag does help you distinguish your bag from similar luggage.

Bottom line: The benefits and inconveniences of the wrap-around Grip tag seem rather modest to me. But, sometimes you just want to buy a product because it is unique and colorful. Happy travels to all. Interestingly, searching within Amazon for "Bucky Tag" can sometimes yield additional listings with better pricing. Also note that price is for one tag, not two.

5.0 out of 5 stars easy to identify luggage, June 14, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I purchased the lime green luggage identifiers, and they worked like a charm. Our luggage was easily spotted amongst all the others, even suitcases similar to ours. The personal information is housed in the interior of the identifier, for total privacy. A must have for flight travel.

5.0 out of 5 stars BUY THESE!, May 24, 2011

these are GREAT for identifying your luggage in a very busy airport. And the grippers make it more comfortable to carry your bag. It has a space for an ID card inside for that added security and it slips through the band so it won't fall off your bag without much tampering. Love these tage!

5.0 out of 5 stars Not Just for Luggage, May 22, 2011
I have used these tags on my luggage for years, and I love them! However, I recently had my first baby and have discovered a new use! Like many mothers of infants, I have a stroller that is identical to many other strollers out there. Last month I put my Bright Pink luggage tag around a piece of the frame on my stroller, now I can spot it immediately wherever I am, and I have gotten Tons(!!) of comments. I Love these tags!
