I purchased this pillow a year ago and can say this is by far the best pillow I have owned. It comes nice and full on both sides, so if it is too much you can easily take some out. The great things about it: 1: It will not change shape after years, most pillows(even memory foam start to break down after a year. 2: you have 2 sides to choose from, the buckwheat side is cooler and more fluid, the millet is softer and warmer. 3. Molds to your head, I have arthritis and pinched nerves in my neck that can cause horrible headaches, and I have experienced less headaches. 4. Easy breathing, no pillows blocking nasal passage ways. 5: I added lavender to the inside and it smells wonderfull every night(this has been 6 months and I can still smell the lavender inside. No worries about a pillow becoming smelly.

The pillow case is synthetic material and I ditched it. I just put a jersey pillow case on it and am pleased.
I do wake up at least once during night and feel the need when I do to shift the pillow around to mold around my neck and head. For most of my life I have been a stomach sleeper and have had to start sleeping on my side, this pillow has helped greatly.
This is not like the buckwheat pillows you see in the stores. It comes nice and full, if anything, you might need to take out some. The only other thing I could add is that it might be considered a little noisy on the buckwheat side so they suggest using the millet side to start with. It is different from other pillows and will take a little to get used to, I now like the sounds it makes and love the way it feels. It took about 2 weeks to get used to the feel.

I have purchased numerous pillows in the past 6 months in hope of relieving the stiff neck I constantly wake up with. This is the first pillow that is comfortable yet firm enough to support my neck. I did buy the sobakawa pillow and loved it, however the air beads gave me an allergic reaction on my face. I found the solid buckwheat pillows to be a little too firm. This has just enough millet that is makes it a little softer without losing support. The only drawback is that the pillow does breakdown after a while. I know you can buy buckwheat filling, but I am not sure if there is millet filling to add.

This is a very comfortable pillow however the casing tore apart at the seam not more than 2 months after using it which spilled millet everywhere.

I purchased the large pillow and when it arrived I was disappointed in how small the pillow was. It is smaller than a standard pillow. Once I used it though, I found I didn't need a large pillow.

I got this pillow because my husband wanted a buckwheat pillow. I tried it also because I was having bad neck pain and using the pillow alone relieved 90% of the pain in a few days. I soon ordered another one for my self. It was unusual to sleep on the first few nights but I did fall asleep quickly and it supported my neck like a dream.

I took off one star because it is very expensive to pay $50 for such a small pillow. If it came down in price then it would be perfect. I would still buy it again since it relieved my neck pain so easily. I have been using this pillow for over six months and I have not woken up with a sore neck since.

I've had this pillow for about a month and it took me me about a week to get used to it. I've tried all other type of pillows and have spent many sleepless nights trying to find the "perfect" pillow. I finally found it! I no longer wake up with a sore neck or back and I wake up less during the night. I also turn and toss alot less now. What can I say? I love this pillow and highly recommed it!

I like this pillow for the way it molds comfortably to your head and neck. I recently experienced whiplash, and this pillow was the only one that allowed me to sleep comfortably at night. The only quibble I have is that the interior lining (which holds in the millet and buckwheat hulls) seems to run pretty easily, and I worry that the hulls will eventually break through. I am hoping that this does not happen, since the pillow would be useless if it did! So far, so good.

I have been sleeping on buckwheat pillows for over 15 years. Bucky makes the best. It conforms to your neck and head. You sleep cooler and I think more refresh. I can't say enough about these pillows. The covers are washable and they are made of good quality. The price is more than standard pillows but well worth the money, especially if you have neck pain.

This pillow is a little like going to the beach and sculpting indentations exactly where you need them. I can pretty rough as I quickly punch the pillow into shape each night, but so far, it has held up wonderfully well. I find it very different from a normal pillow; I like it much better.

I bought this pillow for my daughter. She loves it. The combination of bucwheat hulls and millet is very comfortable. The only downside to this pillow is the size. I would really like to find a buckwheat/millet pillow that is the same size as a standard pillow.

I previously purchased one and this was absolutely the best money I spent in long time -these pillows align your neck and cervix and leave you pain free in the morning. I purchased one for my daughters for Christmas. One extremely happy the other unsure - best for back sleeper unless you learn how to position as I have. great great product and I never purchased lot on Amazon, but my online future with Amazon will be more and lots forth coming .Service and ease of purchase great- right on time delivery, great price and in great condition upon delivery
