My last Bucky was left in a hotel after serving it's duty for over 5 years. There are other brands but my thoughts are go with what you know. The Bucky neck pillow is great for travel or just sitting on the couch. Other reviewers complained that it's not compressible. It's not suppossed to be -- that's the whole point. If you want compressible, then buy and inflatable neck pillow. Yes, it's big, heavy and not compressible -- but it does exactly what it's supposed to do by providing neck support.

I have lived with the Bucky pillow for many years and think very highly of them. I don't sleep without it and carry it with me every time I leave home. I have had back surgery and this Bucky Pillow holds the neck part of my spine and works from side to side as well as on my back. I was so thrilled to find them on your site. I have given them to my friends and they are all thrilled with them. I have tried many pillows and none of them are as satisfactory as the Bucky.

I fly a lot including transatlantic flights. I won't fly without my Bucky pillow. It is very comfortable, molds to the shape I want, and doesn't take up too much space.

i bought this to take on my 3 week trip to europe, it is nice and comfortable. my only complaint is that it is a bit bulky and does not compact at all (thats because it is filled with buckwheat hulls). i will not take it on a trip when space is limited again. for a road trip or a shorter vacation, this would be fine.

I bought into the promise of comfort and I liked the whole organic premise but what I realized on my first use of this pillow on a flight from Boston to San Francisco is that it is way too small and tight around the neck. I am not a big guy and I don't have a thick neck but this pillow is just too small to fit around my neck and I think any other guy for that matter. Unless you are a kid or a lady, then I would say a man needs to try it on before buying. I feel it's very uncomfortable. Also it is rigid so depending on your preference - if you want your pillow to be soft and your head to sink into it this is not the pillow for you.

The Bucky Utopia is the perfect travel companion. The buckwheat filling provides the perfect feel for resting your neck on a flight or in the car. The carrying case is the perfect addition to Bucky as well, it packs up inside of Bucky when not using it, and it is handy to have when Bucky is not needed. A great product!

Bucky neck pillows are extremely versatile and, I think, an absolute necessity for travelers! So when I observed how uncomfortable my adult grandson was on our long flight across the Atlantic to Ireland without the Buckys others of our group enjoyed, I ordered one for him for Christmas.

It was well along in the Christmas Season when I searched the internet for this item. Found the best buy and absolute fastest service from Amazon! The Bucky arrived well in time to wrap for Christmas, and my grandson was very happy with it, looking forward to his long trip across the Atlantic, next time to Italy, in 2012.

This is my second neck pillow. The first Bucky lasted about 20 years, and this one is an identical replacement. Needless to say, I cannot be without this comfort on my neck.

I purchased the Bucky because I was flying from Atlanta, GA to Seoul, South Korea. I spent about 14 hours on the plane each way and the Bucky was great. I was able to sleep with no problem using the Bucky. It was the perfect size for me, I loved the material and the carrying case.

it weighs about two pounds and is about the size of a football and does not compress at all. I can't imagine who would take this on a plane or lug it around in a suitcase--especially with the more recent airline fees and limitations on luggage.

I'm 6 ft tall and this isn't quite puffy enough to hold up my head and though the stuffing doesn't compress, it does move around a bit--so after a little while of use the marginal support squishes around into inadequate support. I'm sure though that for a smaller person for whom this fits, it would be very comfortable.

An inflatable pillow, while probably never up to the comfort potential of the buckwheat shells, can be inflated to accommodate your size and liking and is so light and small as to be trivial to tote around with you on travel. I keep mine folded away in my carry-on bag, ready whenever I go.

I could imagine using it in a car or for watching TV, if someone was so inclined to keep a football sized sack available at the ready.

Final Note: this has a warning to "not to heat in the microwave" because it has metal zippers (2 of them). So this can't be used as a neck and shoulder warmer--which is one of the reasons many people like buckwheat shells in the first place
