Balkan Beats that'll go straight to your hips and feet,

A fun, exciting collection of beats from the Balkans, Shantel does a great job selecting some of the best music to come of the Balkans in the last 10-15 years. Some his own remixes, some the original incarnation, the album gives the uninitiated a crash course in Balkan music. Most of the songs are from some of the most famous and talented artists and bands around, including Fanfare Ciocarlia, Kocani Orkestar, Sandy Lopicic Orkestar, Goran Bregovic, and others. Even if it's not necessarily your 'style' or 'thing', just the sheer talent of the musicians featured on the album will strike a chord with any true lover of music. Enjoy!
