He brings to The Bucs a contagious enthusiasm not only for the Pirates but also for the glory of the game as it should be played.
McCollister is the author of 14 books, including The Sky is Home and Writing for Dollars. He has written over 500 articles for magazines such as The Saturday Evening Post, Plane and Pilot, Sport, Entrepreneur, Family Circle and Science Digest.
He earned his B.A. in History at Capital University and his Ph.D. at Michigan State in Communications.

This was a great book about the history of the Pirates, but being the Pirates were one of the originalmajor league teams its also a history of baseball.Contains alot oftrivia facts.
