4.0 out of 5 stars SuperFast Delivery.
Have not had a chance to put it to the true test but, not a bad knife for hacking through the woods.
Nice deep serrations though you will have to sharpen it when you get it. Sheath is dinky but does its job.
Handle has lanyard hole and nice flat bottom for stubborn tent pegs.
Overall good value for the $$$$$$.

3.0 out of 5 stars made in china
well the knife is made very cheap as is everything made in china. i gave the knife to my son for an early christmas gift. as soon as he opened it he noticed the case was already broken, from the cheap hard plastic, they put a wood screw in to hold the case together. (just the way its made). the boy liked it anyway. and this thing had a really overpowering diesel fuel...

4.0 out of 5 stars Very nice, March 27, 2010

I received this item very promptly, exactly on the day they said it would be here.
Upon opening it, i found the knife to be in very good shape, decently sharp (although i still needed to sharpen it, and once i did, held an edge very well).
The knife is heavy, and has a very sturdy feel to it.
The smell is also slightly bothersome, but i assume it will fade through time and use.
hope this helps!

I purchased this just because I needed a new utility knife and this was a cheap, cool looking solution. Coming decently sharp out of the box, and retaining that sharpness even now, it didn't cease to amaze me. It comes with a surprisingly high quality sheath which is well designed, and very sturdy. The belt attachment is made of Velcro which makes it easy for a lazy person such as myself to put on the sheath without taking off my belt. The grip, while appearing plastic on the picture, is actually made of a rubber type substance. I've seen other reviews say that the grip produced a terrible smell, but it really isn't that bad, just smells like new shoes. The silver parts of the handle (can't think of the appropriate name) are metal and also high quality. The blade itself is very intimidating, has somewhat exaggerated serrations, and is very nice with chopping and stabbing motions. The only thing i can see about this knife that could make it so cheap is either A: the company name or B: the blades -apparent 1 sided mold. all-in-all it's a great knife, and for $7 just get it.

This is a great knife. I've taken it on several camping trips and it has performed very well. Previous reviews have stated that when you first get the knife, it smells bad. That is true but just leave it to air out on a counter and the smell goes away in no time. Overall, a very nice knife.

Came as advertised. Not very sharp out-of-box, but that's to be expected. Has a pretty good balance to it, as well as a full tang which I didn't expect from something that cost this little. It's actually a lot bigger than the picture makes it look-you get a LOT of knife for very, very little.

Seems like a pretty good knife for the price. The sheath is hard plastic and seems kind of brittle. It is sharp. The rubber handle does have a bit of a smell, but not enough to be a concern as seen in other reviews. I'm glad I bought it.

The knife itself is only held togther with a small pin through the handle. i twisted on it a little and could move it but couldnt' break it with my bare hands at least.
OH AND, there are two different knives shown in the pics on the page,. i got the one with the black painted blade.

3.0 out of 5 stars Redneck Toothpick, June 11, 2011

This knife came in sharpened very badly. The angles on each side was very different and the blade was barely sharp. I had to do extensive work to get a proper blade on this. The knife has a bad smell as others have stated but it's really not that bad and it seems to be going away. The bad part is it stays on your hands for hours. I thought the rubberized grip would give it better handling when wet or bloody but it still gets pretty slippery. The construction seems pretty solid, no rattling or loose pieces. The knife is cheap so I didn't expect much and I wasn't disappointed. With some work this knife can be useful.
