It is a good sword for the price, cheaper than the other places I found it. I intend to swing it around a bit before truly deciding, but so far it seems like it was a good deal.

I really was actually quite impressed by this sword. I was a bit skeptical looking at it before buying and hoping it wouldn't be flimsy, but it's actually a very sturdy blade.

It's also actually quite the looker, and for the price very well made. I was very happy with the shipping, it got here sooner than expected. The only qualm, and it is a very small qualm, is that I thought it would be a bit longer in blade length, but I'm not disappointed with it. The blade isn't sharpened, but that's easily done by yourself. Overall I really was impressed, the low price and good quality of this product is great!

It's highly obvious that its not a "Classic Cavalry Saber" it would be much to short to be much use from horseback. It is much more like a cheap version of a 1917 Navy cutlass. Furthermore the blade is made of stainless steel (obviously for the price) and it is just an overall piece of junk which only looks good on the wall. If you just want a cheep sword that you can bash around without much of a worry for wrecking something expensive this is for you. But do not call it historically accurate because it wasn't made for that and I didn't buy it for that. The other reason I bought it was just for kicks. But the hilt is loose the guard falls apart quickly and the blade simply flops around even when you tighten the pommel nut.
And last but not least the tang broke fairly quickly.

I bought this for my Step-Daughter who is in JROTC Honor Guard in High School as a Christmas gift.
We were able to have her name engraved on the brass handle,
and for the price, it was the perfect gift.

This product is high quality at a great price.. The scabbard has the same high quality and very good looking.

My son is happy with the timely delivery of his order. item was new and in excellent shape.
