5.0 out of 5 stars Great buy!
The shipping was fast and the hatchet is a good value for the price. Not very sharp but it is meant for throwing. It is a great weight for throwing and not at all unwieldy.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not so Good
Throwing the hatchet and sticking it in the tree was pretty fun but it broke in less than an hour.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Cheap, but fun!, November 15, 2011
This review is from: Double Throwing Hatchet Axe (Misc.)
Bought this on a lark after buying more "normal" throwing tomahawks. It is a blast to throw a double bladed tom. However, you get what you pay for. This is cheap, cheap, cheap, and it will break right away. The handle is too thin at the rivet, and will break there. The head is three pieces of metal pressed together.
I craft wood, so I made a custom fit hickory handle for it, and had the head welded just because it is fun to throw. Buyer beware! This is cheap junk that will not hold up.

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrable Buy, October 6, 2011

I bought this axe it was cheap so i expected it not to last long but i thought it would last longer than Two throws. the axe is not sharp i ran my hand across the blade multiple times and it barley left a depression in my hand.Out of the box the axe had this brown almost partical bored glue on it around were the blade head meets the handle. After throwing it twice the metal supports cracked on both sides so now the head is lose and wobbly. even though its only about 10 dollars its not even worth that don't bother.

3.0 out of 5 stars A very fun 10 minutes!, September 30, 2011

This thing is awesome! It plowed right throw a piece of drywall and stuck into the wood behind it. It's a beast of a throwing axe.

However, I threw it at a tree and it broke. The head just snapped right off (see my customer pictures). Can't really expect too much from a $10 axe, though.

- My Son's Review

I bought this throwing axe, which judging by the four stars, I thought was a good buy.
I tested it by throwing it at a wooden pallet I had laying around the backyard.

The handle quickly crached, which I thought I would fix. The axe head broke off near the lower shaft. It was identified by my father as low quality pig-iron.

This axe is only suitable for decor, and as such should only be purchased for such reasons. I would advise you to spend the extra $30 and get a quality axe of strong steel, a sturdy design ( the single rod is the worst design you can possibly think of ), and a hardwood handle.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great starter hatchet, July 28, 2011
This review is from: Double Throwing Hatchet Axe (Misc.)
I just started throwing hatchets and tomahawks as a hobby and could stick this one 4 out of 5 times consistently, from any range. If you want to try throwing a hatchet I suggest starting with this one, real confidence booster.
