4.0 out of 5 stars Feel Like Robin Hood!
First off, let me summarize my review by saying that for the price, this is a great sword. I was attracted to it by the ornate designs and the fact it came with a sheath.

Overall this is a great sword given the price you will pay. (I paid $20, shipping included.) The only real con I have with this sword is that the silver fittings on the sheath don't quite...

3.0 out of 5 stars Cool but cheap
This sword is pretty cool if not a little of a cheap make. First of all, the sword is held together by screws which are uncovered. Second, the sheath is pretty much junk; it would'nt survive any rough handling. Overall, the sword looks pretty cool, but is strictly ornamental.

First off, let me summarize my review by saying that for the price, this is a great sword. I was attracted to it by the ornate designs and the fact it came with a sheath.

Overall this is a great sword given the price you will pay. (I paid $20, shipping included.) The only real con I have with this sword is that the silver fittings on the sheath don't quite join up correctly. Besides that I am quite happy with it.

There one other review on this sword where they said that their swords blade had a honey like substance on it. I believe what he is referring to is the resin coating which gets put onto the black part of the sheath. I didn't have any on my swords blade, must of been a mistake for his sword only.

I think this sword is definitely worth the $20 price I paid for it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really cool, Glad I bought, October 5, 2011
This review is from: Robin Hood Short Sword (Misc.)
This is one of my favorite swords. I has a really nice feel, is well balanced, and is very beautiful.

The little stone on the bottom of the hilt is red, if you can't see in the picture.

It is a very short sword, but is perfect for me cause I'm short. :)

The sword snaps into the sheath very tightly, so that when you hold it upside down, it will never fall out, even when you've had it for years and it loosens a little.

LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This review is from: Robin Hood Short Sword (Misc.)
The sword is right for the price. The hilt is made from plastic and cheap metal. there are two screw's in the hilt right next to the heads of the birds, the screw's only show on one side. the blade is decent but not super durable. overall it ok.

5.0 out of 5 stars happy niece, January 4, 2012

I haven't actually seen this item----purchased as a gift from my aunt to my 7 year old niece----but I hear it was the hit of the holiday! chose it because it seemed the right size and a balance of economy and durability, realistic look but not sharp. can't believe how many swords/knives/daggers don't say if they come sharpened: thank you everyone who reviewed this and other prop, costume, and reproduction swords and made my shopping task possible.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not what i expected, March 25, 2011

I read the description, read the reviews but in the end it just was not what i needed and i guess for the price it was good but the pictures do not really show what it looks like and it is hard to see exactly the size comparison to anything but all in all if you purchase it be careful you can't return it. I have called and was told you can't return all sales final. So Buyer beware!

3.0 out of 5 stars Decorative!, December 17, 2011
This review is from: Robin Hood Short Sword (Misc.)
I've had this for quite a long time and it's a great decoration for the price! Mine doesn't come out of the scabbard very easily and the screws holding the sheath together and pretty visible, but it looks almost identical to the picture and just for display it looks lovely. It hangs above my bed and gets lots of oohs and aahs :)
