There have been quite a generous amount of comedy teams over the years, but none as good, IMHO, as Abbott and Costello. This very fast read, will tell you the behind the laughter story of one little, fat, funny man whose ego got him into trouble and another dapper straight man who usually went along and did not want to rock the boat. He eventually ended up penniless. Both squandered their immense monies away gambling. Bud drank, had epilepsy, and Lou understood that he was the real talent and many times let Bud know it. Lou took more of 1/2 his share of the money many times taking advantage of Bud. But still, after reading this book, I want to know more, and still love the shenanigans of the fellows, especially "Who's on first?"
