Chico Buarque é um dos cantores mais conhecidos e prestigiados pelos brasileiros. Buarque também é escritor e dramaturgo. O livro Budapeste, publicado em 2003, recebeu o prêmio Jabuti de melhor ficção em 2004, e em 2009, recebeu a versão cinematográfica.

Budapeste conta a história de José Costa, um ghost writer, isto é, um escritor que é contratado para escrever livros; o livro então é publicado no nome da pessoa que o contratou. É uma historia sobre identidade, amor à linguagem, permeada de sexo e aventura.

Chico Buarque is one of the most prestigious and well-known Brazilian singers. Buarque is also a writer and a playwright. The book Budapest, published in 2003, won the Jabuti award for best work of fiction in 2004 and, this year, the book was made into a movie.

Budapest tells the story of José Costa, a ghostwriter; that is, a writer who is hired to write a book to be published under the name of the person who hired him/her. Budapest is a story of identity and a love for language, and is also permeated by sex and adventure.
