I've been wanting a wide loaves bread buddy for quite a while. I just didn't know they were available yet. I've owned the bread buddy for about 5 years and thought it was fantastic. Then I started buying the Buttermilk loaves, they are much wider than the standard breads. Now, with the wide loaves bread buddy I'm quite happy.

This is the most amazing bread device ever! I eat a lot of organic/ artisan bread and the Bread Buddy kept a loaf fresh for a month! The wide loaves size fits a loaf perfectly and I wasn't throwing away moldy bread or having to eat bread that was dried out from keeping it in the fridge. With the Bread Buddy, the last slice was a good as the first. I love it!

I love these things. I also have the sizes for little loaves and sandwich size loaves. They are particularly nice for freezing without crushing the bread in the process. I use them for bagels, and deli breads which come in irregular sizes as well. I have purchased many things through Amazon and frequently rely on the reviews. My purchasing experiences have always been good.

I got two of these for storing my flour. I wish I had read the review the stated there were holes in the end. I taped the holes shut and am pretty sure that it will be fine. They fit exactly in the space that I had for them, and hold quite a lot of flour.

The bread buddy will not hold a regular loaf of bread that you buy at the store. It has four holes in the bottom of the container, so you really can't use it to store anything like sugar or flour. It does not hold normal wide loaves of store bought bread either. Not worth the money.

We bought a regular-sized bread dispenser a few months ago, and we really like it. So, we thought we would try one for the wider loaves of whole wheat since we get those sometimes, too. This wide one was made of a less flexible plastic and seemed like a different supplier altogether. The top was impossible to seal/close. Even when I turned it upside down and pressed as hard as possible it would not seal or seat around the top lip. We returned it today and are just getting another of the regular-size dispensers for regular-sized whole wheat loaves.

I recieved the Bread Buddy for Wide Loaves today and it is even better than I had thought. Yes there is four 1/4" holes in the bottom but that doesnt bother me, if I had to guess why they are there I would say the holes are there to get air inside? What is really nice is that the plastic is thick and durable. You can use this bread buddy when your camping or traveling and not worry about it getting smashed. I work for days at a time and I can throw this bread buddy in my bag along with the rest of my gear in the same bag and I am good to go! Dimentions are approx. 4 and 1/2 inches long, 5 and 3/4 inches wide and 9 and 1/2 inches tall.

I found this product to be too small for a regular loaf of bread. I wanted something that would handle a regular loaf of bread and provide some room to get it in an out. This will only work with a small loaf of bread. Also, I found it very difficult to open and close. I was not satisfied and chose to let my husband have it to store some of his work items. I went back to my old Bread Buddy. I wish they still made the one I got 10 years ago.

I just wasted $10 because the product dimensions are wrong. It states it is 6x5. At the top it's BARELY 5.5" x 4.25". At the bottom it's more like 5.25" x 4". I was hoping to use this to store homemade bread that is almost exactly 5" x 5". Plus I thought it had the potential to be air-sealed, but there are holes on the bottom. I posted a photo, you can see it's not even close!
