This book is great whether you are into buddism and sheep or not. You can learn a great deal while being entertained by these comical illustrations depicting the messages. It's a must have.

A simple Delight,

This is a kind and fluffy book: it makes no claims for itself but infiltrates a kind sense of compassion into the reader. Beyond rubies. buy it. You will kick yourself if you don't.

Thought Provoking,

This review is from: Buddhism for Sheep (Hardcover)
While this is a light hearted look at Buddhist Principles, I found it quite thought provoking. The format is cartoon line drawings with a short statement of Buddhist Principle on each page. Some pages will make you smile, others may cause you to pause and reflect. As a 'sheep collector', this is a must have book but I was pleasantly surprised by content after my purchase!

Not enough for a book,

While I commend the authors for making a cute cartoon comment on Buddhism and those we humans might think "beneath us" (sheep), this is not enough material for a book. It was a serious overexpenditure -- and in *hardback*, no less???This would have made a cute Web site, no more. It takes literally five minutes to read.

5 Minute Read? Excellent!,

I'm a lazy reader. There is a time for Big Novels, but I find that short books can often be far more enjoyable & teach you a lot more than a Ball & Chain Big Book.
And this book fits excellently into the category of a small book as all it is is 80 pages, with a picture and a sentence per page. Clearly what the author has done is taken a phrase from Zen Buddhism (written by Louise Howard) & then drawn a picture of it involving sheep. All in all, it is a wonderfully simple book & reminded me of Bradley Trevor Grieve's books (e.g. The Blue Day Book: A Lesson in Cheering Yourself Up) in being insightful & easy to remember, but easy on the grey cells Buy it, especially if you're a Bibliophiliac (like me)!

This is a perfectly delightful little book. Although, humourous and witty, it is filled with moral truths. It is "light reading" at its best!

Short, cartoonish, and superficial. Little depth to this cute but insubstantial tome. Most memorable quote: "Karma means there is no escape." Occasionally humorous, it is finished in a flash. And, like dining on nouveau cuisine, it leaves you hungry for more.

A waste of money,

I do not think the authors have ever had anything to do with real sheep, it is insulting.
