This is truly a book whose one aim is to dipel any myths about Buddhism to the westerner and begin the path to enlightenment. Buddhism and Zen is set to the pace of the beginner, taking time to explain things and thus insure proper understanding, both through a modern question and answer section and a classical interpretation of an ancient Buddhist text. Whether you're an avid Zen scholar or just a curious American, this book will meet all of your needs and then some.
