Book Description

Buddhism originated in India more than 2,500 years ago, yet it speaks to the needs of our busy modern lives as if it were created yesterday. Featuring 70 color photos, this celebration of Buddhism presents a fascinating kaleidoscope of the religion's many aspects, including Tantra, Zen, and the Pure Land beliefs of Japan. Through glimpses of the Buddha's career and central aspects of his teaching, readers will discover rich spiritual nourishment in this ancient faith.

True to it's title, this book is very inspiring and enlightening. It is beautifully illustrated and I enjoyed reading it very much. The longer I live, the more I aspire to be more kind and understanding. I agree with the core philosophy "Harm no thing".
