I bought this book owning three budgies already but was looking to educate myself further. This book is great for beginner owners. It gives an overview of the history, care, and topics owners need to know. What I liked most about it were the details it gave such as, how big a proper cage should be, feeding measurements, a proper diet etc. Though I don't recommend breeding budgies for beginners, as it is quite the commitment and work, the book even covers the topic. I would recommend this book to first time owners but not for those who want further information. Overall, it is a great book with its variety of necessary topics and details.
