Best Brazilian collection of all times, June 2, 2008
This review is from: Em Buenos Aires Con Maria Creuza Y Toqui (Audio CD)
Vinicius de Moraes is probably the greatest Brazilian poet and musician of all times. I have grown up listening to him, his songs are deep and calming.
He was the link between the old guard of poets and the new generation song writers and singers. While he was a friend of great poets like Manuel Bandeira, he was also a friend/partner of new singers (at that time) like Toquinho, Chico, and Tom Jobim.
This CD, together with "Toquinho & Bethania En La Fusa" contain some of the best (and most well know) Brazilian songs.
If you like or is interested in Brazilian music, you certainly should buy this collection.

A yearning for the past, January 25, 2009
This review is from: Em Buenos Aires Con Maria Creuza Y Toqui (Audio CD)
This must be one of the best Brazilian albums of the 1980's. De Moraes's voice with Toquino and Maria Creuza are melodious, merging beautifully together. If you are fond of this type of music, this CD is definitely a must-buy. Lovely, lovely, lovely.

Closer to paradise., April 5, 2011
This review is from: Em Buenos Aires Con Maria Creuza Y Toqui (Audio CD)
Impossible to have a good record collection without this sacred monster.
If I could choose to live in another time and choose a concert, this one would definitely be among the first three.
Just wow....
