My wife gave me a package of Buffalo Bills "Premium Hickory Beef Jerky Pieces" for my birthday. So being the cool guy that I am, I took it on a recent 4-wheeling trip and shared it with my compadres. Here's what they had to say:

LOL! Seriously, this IS good jerky. But it's a tad bit salty, and has a VERY distinct soy flavor. Maybe because the first three ingredients are beef, water, and soy. haha! If you do not like soy, you will NOT like this jerky. But that aside, it was a good-sized bag, and we demolished it in pretty short order. The pieces were not too big or small, and it was not chewy. It was maybe a tad bit hard, but it was not sinewy. This was premium beef - no grissel! I highly recommend this and other Buffalo Bills jerky products.

Just be sure you have something to drink (it goes great with beer)!

This jerky is my favorite. Is easy to eat yet has substance. Thick chunks that aren't mushy. The flavor is excellent and you can tell it's made from quality meat- no stringy or "mystery" surprises. I'm hooked!

Just got a new batch and I have to agree with the reviewer who also just got some of this- SALTY! Can't taste anything else. Does seem a little greasy but it was on my step (delivered there) and it was 100 degrees today. May have been from that. Texture is the same but that salt. Hope it's a fluke. I'm calling them tomorrow!

I've been a beef jerky lover my entire life and have sampled all different brands of beef jerky and this is hands down my favorite... Just a terrific product... I buy a few of the 1 oz bags every time I visit my local liquor store and can't get enough of it....

Buffalo Bills 16oz Premium Hickory Beef Jerky Pieces are a great tasting, fairly low carb and low calorie snack!

The flavor is strong, but not over-powering, and it is not too tough to chew.

Buffalo Bills is by far my favorite commercial brand of Beef Jerky!

Original Hickory Pieces are a kitchen cabinet staple at our house. Everyone enjoys the wonderful taste of this jerky. The hickory flavor blends nicely with the pepper and garlic, and is consistently good with each order. We can always depend on Choo Choo for great taste and excellent service.

Let me start by saying that I rarely write reviews or complain. I love beef jerky and I have tried many different brands. Let me start with the good... the product shipped and arrived quickly. I liked the fact that it did not have MSG in it like other jerkies.

Now the bad, tough is an understatement. I am not sure if I got a bad batch or what but I have never had any beef jerky this tough before. The sample of spicy beef jerky they included was great but this particular product/batch was horrible.

Buffalo Bills is the best beef jerky on the market. Delicious smoky flavor with lasting spicey overtones. random size pieces are great for snacking (but hard to stop)! Our family loves it.

This beef jerky is good and solid. I use the word solid because it is not moist. The heat also overwhelms the smoke flavor (at least for me). I will definitely consume this, but will buy another flavor next time.

I've also tried the original flavor which is very good and moist and the barbecue, which is very moist and absolutely delicious.

If you like your jerky chewy with some fire and some smoke flavor, buy this!

I have ordered probably $500 of jerky from various online companies in the last 3 years and I can say this is for sure the best jerky I have ever had. The hickory flavor is great and salty. It's the kind of snack you just can't stop eating. The other great thing is I like the pieces, instead of long strips. It much nicer to be able to just pop bite size pieces in your mouth, rather than try and use your side molars to rip a long piece of jerky apart. I have probably gone through eight bags of this product and have two in the cupboard. Just do it.

this tastes like home made beef jerky to me. there is also a ton of it in one bag. for 20.00 i thought it might be a little pricey but its a good deal compared to store brands and a lot better. i did not find the meat to soy saucey or tough like some others mentioned. i went ahead and bought another bag.
