Interesting little book. Definitely gave me new respect for the women who made their way west. Useful biography at the end too. Good material for elementary (upper grades) or even highschool although as an adult I thoroughly enjoyed the book.

This was the book my daughter Elise enjoyed the most in her 4th grade class. A delightful account of how women shaped the country's destiny as our nation moved westward. I would highly recommend it for any young adult boy and girl who is interested in our past
