Every year over the holidays, the wife and I like to do jigsaw puzzles. We were quite excited about tackling this puzzle and had intended on banging it out, gluing it, and hanging in on our youngest's wall.

As most folks do we separated out the border pieces from the rest of the puzzle and began to try and assemble the frame of the puzzle. To our surpise, the pieces fit together so poorly that we could put a single piece in several places.

After a failed attempt to assemble the border, we decided that maybe we could do this one from the inside out. Naturally, we failed at this as well as we found that all the pieces fit together too poorly to assemble the puzzle and maintain our sanity.

The puzzle truly is beautiful and the poster included within is really nice; but in my mind they really cut corners on the quality of the puzzle cut making it unassembleable.

I wouldn't recommend buying this puzzle unless you have saint-like patience or you are glutton for punishment.

I really liked the art on this jigsaw puzzle. It had a free poster which is smaller than the size of the puzzle itself and an attractive box. The art is good enough to be framed and put up on your wall.

However, there were two issues with the puzzle itself that I found very annoying. Firstly, the jigsaw image is supposed to be a piece of painted art, and so the pieces aren't easy to fit together. There are a lot of flowers and trees that look identical to other pieces, so I suggest that more than one person work on this puzzle. Otherwise, you'll get frustrated and never finish. Secondly, after I had nearly completed the puzzle, there were some pieces that didn't fit the remaining empty spots. These were all border pieces. It seems that a small handful of the border pieces can fit into multiple places. This wasn't the strong finish I was hoping for. I still haven't finished the puzzle after two months because of those remaining pieces.

I would still recommend this item for someone who is patient and loves beautiful Disney artwork.

While I agree with some previous reviews concerning some pieces that may fit in two places, I really did enjoy doing this puzzle. I got off to a very slow start and so I moved it to a small work table in my family room so that it could remain up and I could watch tv, interact with family members, etc, and still work on the puzzle. It took me over 2 months because there were sometimes days that went by before I sat down again to work on it. And sometime I would only get 2 or 3 pieces done. I'm not ready for another one of these yet but I'm sure I'll do another like it sometime. Now, I'm searching for a frame that will fit.

This puzzle was so much fun, and my sister and I (both adults) finished it in 3 days, probably working on it 5-6 hours a day while watching TV or chatting. The design is sooo beautiful and bright and it has a surprising amount of detail. I can't wait to frame it and hang it in my dorm! :)

I have completed 2 of the 3 winnnie the pooh puzzles. The borders are hard to finish because it seems like some pieces can fit in different places, but after that it is a very fun challenge to complete these beautiful puzzles.

I actually found the Rescuing piglet puzzle online at a UK website for F 9.99. Much cheaper than the price here.
