This product must be applied to back of the puzzle. It was impossible to turn the puzzle over in one piece even with the help of large pieces of cardboard to slide on and put on top to flip.
Also, one box did not have enough sheets for the 1000 piece puzzle.

Tip - in order to use this product, you have to turn over your puzzle.

Use the easy to remove tape that is included and tape the edges and across the puzzle.

Slide newspaper under the puzzle.

Place another newspaper on top of puzzle, and tape both newspapers together.

Slide cardboard under puzzle and a piece of cardboard on top and flip over.

It sounds complicated but it really isn't. It's really easy once you get the hang of it.

Try it. You'll never use puzzle glue again.

This product is a great alternative to using puzzle glue as it is only applied to the back surface of the puzzle. This allows the puzzle to retain its pristine out of box appearance. With puzzle glue, you might notice brush strokes left behind as well as it's harder to get an even application.

No thanks, I'll use this product to secure my puzzles.

I used this product on a Buffalo Games 765 piece New York panoramic puzzle and also plan to use two kits to secure the Buffalo Games 2,000 piece New York Times Square puzzle I just started.

Also included are self adhesive hangars but I didn't use them as I had the puzzle mounted in a custom frame. Expensive but well worth it.

I do jigsaw puzzles all the time and usually just take them apart and put them back in the box to do again at a later time. I recently purchased two puzzles that I wanted to preserve and frame. The puzzle presto looked like a better alternative than the other puzzle preservers on the market. While using it I kept thinking to myself that I could have done the same thing with a roll of contact paper. The two 'hangers' supplied in the box are, in my opinion, useless. They are nothing more than a piece of thin plastic - the same cheap piece of plastic used to hang merchandise in stores. I don't know how the company expects people to hang their finished puzzles, but even without a frame these 'hangers' would not support the weight of a 1000 piece puzzle. I definitely would not recommend this product to anyone.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great alternative to glue, July 31, 2011

I had a 2000 piece monster that I couldn't even build on one table. It was sitting in two pieces in two different parts of my apartment. I was dreading gluing it because I really don't like putting glue on the front of the puzzle, and was afraid that just applying it to the back wouldn't be good enough. Glue has worked well for me in the past, but I do have one puzzle that has some buckling in it due to the glue...and I did NOT want that happening to this one.
Puzzle Presto works. Its very simple and easy...peel the adhesives and carefully apply them to the back of the puzzle. The only thing you need to watch out for is knowing if you need to do any cutting to the adhesive sheets to fit your puzzle. These aren't made for 2000 piece puzzles so I had to buy two. But it worked out perfectly.
I will note that when I picked the puzzle up, it still bowed in various places - the backing adhesive sheets aren't thick or strong enough to act as a stabilizer. So you still need to be cautious when handling your puzzle after applying this. If you're framing it, this will do the job. But I would not recommend trying to hang the puzzle with ONLY Puzzle Presto as the support. For hanging without a frame, I'd still say glue is your best bet.
You do get plenty of sheets and also an adhesive tape to help you flip your puzzle over - just don't get careless when doing so.
All in all, if you're careful with your puzzle as you should be anyway, this product is very helpful...just remember it does NOT support enough to hang your puzzle using just this as the agent to hold it together.

This is easy to use, Will not create a big mess, and seems to hold up well over time.
Wish I could get it in the local stores. Very Glad they added it to Amazon Prime, saved $$ on Shipping.

Length:: 0:13 Mins

I purchased this product assuming (from other reviews) that it was simply a less messy alternative to glue and I should be very careful with the delicate finished result.
Well, as you can see from my video, once applied to my 1000 piece Disney photo mosaic puzzle this thing is sturdy enough to handle a little rough treatment, I wouldn't go folding it in half but you could probably roll it up like a poster for short periods of time.

The process was simple and quick, remove wax backing, apply sticky side to puzzle, rinse and repeat with each square until entire puzzle is covered.
For smaller puzzles you may not need to use all of the sheets and maybe even a little trimming might be needed, however for the 1000 in the video it used all of the sheets with slight overlapping.
Very sturdy, I used the enclosed plastic tabs to hang it on the wall in my living room.

I won't ever used puzzle glue again, because not only do you need the glue, but a clean work-space, a poster-board to glue it to, and then a frame.
I did this on my living room floor (carpet) and then hung it. Simple, simple, simple; and clean, couldn't recommend this enough.

For starters I'm a college student and on my free time between classes assignments, I like to put puzzles together. Most of them are completed on the floor and ready to be hung up, so I bought this product in hopes of not having to use glue on my puzzles. I saw this gimmick of not having to use glue, but glue would have been better. First problem I had was the puzzle I was trying to adhere was 1000 pieces the adhesives didn't even fully fit it. Even though the product says it would. Next I thought alright I will just use what is here and tape the rest, so I carefully flipped over my puzzle and tried to peel the backing from the paper of the adhesives. Upon peeling the paper from the supposed sticky side, the paper tore from the corner with no sticky part. I tried the next one (since there were six of them) and they all did the same thing, no sticky side, either the adhesives are old or just defective, either way the product is unusable and a waste of time. If this company can't ensure quality, then it's not a product for anyone's money. Two things I learned are don't be duped by gimmicky shortcuts and just get the old standby, glue and don't just read the positive reviews before I spend my money.

The stickers hold a puzzle together well and don't allow the puzzle to bend much. It was easy for me to apply the stickers, but a child would probably have trouble. Unfortunately, the box only contained one plastic piece used for hanging puzzles - rather than the two it was supposed to.

Turning the puzzle over works best when you have 2 large flat areas. Scrapbooking boards &/or large cookie sheet or sheet cake pans were very useful. The surface tape included was only marginally useful - certainly not good enough by itself to turn the puzzle. The hanger works fine. Box includes only 2 hangers which isn't anywhere near enough to use all the sticker sheets.
