This review is from: Buffalo Seekers: A Novel of the Nakota (Paperback)
Buffalo seekers was excellent. It is a fast read and i could not put down the book. The book follows a family who lives in Montana. The protagonists are the tribe leaders, "stands alone", his wife "Wind Walker" and their son "rides alone with broken leg". They are all apart of the Nakota tribe, which through generations struggled with small pox. My opinion on the book was that the author did a good job on helping the reader visualize the setting and characters. A weak point was how long the time line of the book was, and because of this, it made the book a bigger challenge to read. Overall, i would recommended this book to a reader who likes culture, action and spiritual reads.
