The pictures alone are stunning but the story of the love between a cat and a human, be it man, woman, or child, is what makes this book such a treasure. Only those who have ever loved an animal and had such a bond as this will understand and relate to Philip's relationship with Buffy. Anyone who has ever loved and been loved by a cat should read this book. A beautiful cat, a beautiful human being, and a beautiful book.

You will be as smitten as I was with this captivating cat peering at you through the curtain. A stunning tribute and a deserving one. Every cat should be this loved.

This wonderful book was a gift to me from a friend who lost her dear cat Buster to cancer two days before I lost my Jolie cat to cancer. You don't think anyone else could or would understand your love for your pet or your grief at the loss of your pet. This book with its beautiful photographs and charming story let me see other people do love their pets as I do. It is a book I have shared with my 94 year old neighbor to my 13 year old niece and everyone has loved it. This is a book your must own if you are a cat or a pet lover.

This book touched my heart in such a way that anyone who has ever loved and cherished a pet would understand. The author's compassion and devotion for Buffy was so inspirational and so true of many people who love a cat. He has such a strong bond and will always have that bond , though now they are separated. The author's photographs are so touching, from when Buffy was young, to the one with her as she was older and almost on her way to heaven. I do believe that God has a special place for them and one day we who have loved and lost a cherished pet will be reunited. Thank-you Philip Dattilo for taking the time to write this wonderful book and share the special bond you have with Buffy. I know it was written from the heart and from the soul. May God heal your heart of the pain of losing Buffy and replace it with peace and take the tears away....A very well written book and I would recommend it to anyone who loves a pet.

If you have ever loved or been loved by a special pet, then this book will touch your soul. The tale of Buffy is told so superbly that you can actually feel the love between the writer and this most amazing feline. The photographs are beautiful, and add warmth and life to the story. If this wonderful book does not bring a smile to your lips and maybe a tear or two to your eyes, then you need to check your pulse, there's a possibility that your heart has been replaced by a rock.

This is a wonderful story about the relationship of a man and a beautiful little furry four legged friend, and how their journey over time brings insight, caring, laughter, tears, but most of all- *love* into perspective. It warmed my heart -and it will yours. It is a beautifully written tribute filled with warm photography, and bodes well for the heart of this author. Buffy's legacy lives on in this story that all should enjoy and can relate to. It's a story about caring enough to love, and the gifts that come with that.

What a moving memorial to a much-loved cat! I loved the book! I loved the photographs. I loved the sentiments expressed by the author. I loved everything about Buffy My Love. As I read I experienced Buffy's sweet personality and Dattilo's love for this wonderful cat. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has ever loved an animal.

Although I have never lived with a cat, BUFFY MY LOVE has been my chief consolation since my little dog died. I agree with Sandy Robins, book reviewer for CAT FANCY, when she writes that Philip Dattilo "has put a universal love story on paper that anyone who has ever loved an animal can identify with" (Sept. '03). BUFFY MY LOVE is simply a beautiful book in both its words and its photographs.

This little book, the photographer author's tribute in words and photographs to the feline love of his life, shines with gentle love, compassion, and loyalty. Truly a spiritual book, BUFFY MY LOVE illustrates unconditional love and admiration for Creation, the Creator, and one perfect little creature whose love, beauty, gentleness, and loyalty forever changed Dattilo's life.

I can't recommend this book highly enough -- for those who love cats, photography, beauty, love, kindness, and life itself. It would make a beautiful gift for anyone who loves any of the above, as well.
