This is a really good Picture book.
This has some amazing angel pictures but thats about it. Its wonderful to look at though.

Beautiful, but not much more.
Yes, the 15 photos in this book are beautiful--how could they not be, considering the subject? But they are all studio shots, and the true Angel aficionado will have seen most, if not all of them, before. Other than the photos, there are 3 brief quotes from BtVS episodes, and one from actor David Boreanaz's interview in THE WATCHER'S GUIDE (a must-have book for any...

First of all, if you're as obsessive as I am YOU NEED THIS BOOK! This is Angel we're talking about, and the more Angel the better as far as I'm concerned! However, I would have liked it more if there had been more than two expressions on his face throughout the whole thing...they could have put a few Angelus pictures in there, 'cause as evil as he is, he was HOT! Just a suggestion if they ever do another one...also, Essential Oz, Essential Xander and Essential Spike should *definitely* be on their way!

This book is pretty good but I was hoping for more on Angel's history not just some pictures and a few quotes

If you're looking for any more than is stated above, you won't find it in THE ESSENTIAL ANGEL. However, the photos are suitable for framing, kissing or drooling over.

This book is great its got some of the best pics of Angel I have ever seen, specially the last one with the evil Angel it is worth the 8 bucks by it self, I have 10 copies of the book myself, a must buy for every Angel fan.

it shows pictures on angel, talks about him a bit and he says what he thinks about the character. its a good short book.
