This review is from: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Kulak Bust (Toy)
Of the five busts of monsters from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" that have been produced to date, this one of the Kulak demon is the least impressive. But that is because the others are D'Hoffryn, Fyarl Demon Giles, the Judge, and one of the Gentlemen. Of course, D'Hoffryn popped up five time from the demon dimension of Arashmahar, and the Judge was only in two episodes, so the rest are all one shot wonders when it comes to being a demon in the Buffyverse.
To be precise, this is a bust of Kulak fo the Miquot Clan, whose only appearance was in the Season Three episode, "Homecoming," when he participated in Slayerfest '98 (although we did see a second Miquot being held captive at the Initiative headquarters the following season in "The Initiative"). That was where Kulak and other assassins paid for the privilege of participating in a hunt to kill Buffy and Faith (although it was really Buffy and Cordelia). As you can see, Kulak has bright yellow skin, a stegosaurus inspired Mohawk-like design on the top of his head, and is able to produce organic blades from his arm for fighting (which explains the objects on the base). Alas, poor Kulak, he was accidentally blown up in the cabin in Miller's Woods by one of his competitors. The demon Kulak was played by Chad Stahelski and this bust was sculpted by Pablo Viggiano. Production was limited to 1,500 pieces and the 6 1/2 inch bust comes fully painted and ready to display. If this is the least impressive of the bunch, then this is a very good set of demon busts. Will there be more demons to come? After all, we have Moloch the Corruptor, Acathla, Ken, Anyanka, Gachnar, Adam, and a whole bunch of others.
