Disaster Preparedness Is More Important Today Than At Any Other Time In Human History.

Believe it or not this country is accelerating out of control into an unprecedented collapse of everything... and I do mean everything.

We are all living in an intense environment of instability due to the forces of rapid economic, political, financial, spiritual, ecological, environmental and social changes.

While there are threats of imminent large scale disasters and war... daily emergencies can happen to anybody, anywhere and at any time. You have to be ready.

However, most people don't think about surviving disasters until it's TOO LATE!

For example:

  • No one had "Survive Hurricane Katrina" marked on their calendars.
  • There's no months’ notice before a city-crushing earthquake.
  • No one plans to have their home swallowed in a blazing fire that is eating up homes measured in thousands of acres.

And even when early notice is possible, most people take it lightly. You don't have to look further than Super Storm Sandy to see that.

Sadly, thousands lose their lives every year all because they were not prepared.

So let me ask you... Are you ready for an emergency? I’m not talking about a nose bleed or dislocated shoulder. I’m talking the kind of emergency that creates an exodus of thousands of people (including you and your family) fleeing
the comfort of your home.

Or what about a large scale grid down ...no water ...no electricity ...no internet ...no grocery store ...no cell phone type of emergency? (It's coming... even if you decide to ignore it go back to sleep.)

I would suspect that the reason you are even reading this is because you’d like to have the strategy, structures and skills to handle an uncertain future while navigating through unpredictable situations.

What you will learn in just the first section of "The Bug Out Bag List - Survival Gear You Must Have For Emergency Preparedness" is a powerful structure to ensure you have the agility and adaptability to survive, win and have a firm financial footing today and tomorrow, regardless of the times and turmoil.

While this book is called “The Bug Out Bag List” ...it’s really more than that, much more as you will soon see.

The Difference Between
Life and Death During Disasters Comes Down To the Decisions You Will Make.

2.0 out of 5 stars OK Information Sandwiched in a Sales Pitch July 6, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is not overly short nor does it lack decent information, but it left me with a bad taste in my mouth because of the way that it started with a sales pitch for a free e-course and ended with with several chapters dedicated to the other books by the author. Yes, you can skip the ads, but when I pay $5.99 for a book, I expect better.

The content was acceptable, but seemed eclectic and disorderly. It started with advice to get a lower back brace?!?

It had a properly linked Table of Contents, but it was in a HUGE font and was difficult to read, let alone navigate.

Pass on this book. If you spend an extra $3.50 you can pick up the best book in this category: Build the Perfect Bug Out Bag($9.34)

I also recommend Ultralight Survival: Make a Small and Light Bug Out Bag That Could Save Your Life for specific advice on creating the lightest and most efficient bug-out-bag possible.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Recommended Based on Bad Information January 13, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Bug Out Bag List - Survival Gear You Must Have For Emergency Preparedness by Zachary Carver is a book that begins to fail the reader as a resource pretty fast and it seems to pick up the pace as it goes.

The beginning starts with the author stating, "Today's economic, social, political, environmental and international environment are so fragile that the need to bug out is imminent and can happen from any direction at any time." Either the author fails to understand the word "imminent" or he is fear mongering. While being prepared is absolutely essential there is nothing imminent going on right now that requires that I bug out! The same probably applies to your situation. Then he goes on to discuss the importance of a obtaining a back brace should your back go out. If your back is that bad in a crisis a back brace is probably not going to get you up and running to bug out. The author then goes on to discuss "Mindset" but never defines what mindset is using a clear definition. While the author probably understands the importance of mindset I don't feel that he articulated the information very well. He attempts to use elaborate verbiage such as: Strategic bug out mindset, survival strategic power, The Survival G.A.P., etc. He uses a lot of acronyms and mnemonics to get his points across. In many respects it feels like Carver is overcomplicating many of the concepts. Simple works best especially in a crisis.

One area that I completely disagree with the author is with his recommendation of the Baofeng UV-5R+ ham radio. Baofeng radios are notoriously known for quality control issues. Unfortunately many individuals get wrapped up over the price of the radio at the expense of the quality of the radio.

2.0 out of 5 stars Wanted Lists July 25, 2013

I expected prioritized lists with ideas of products. There was way too much discussion of personal opinions without facts to back them up.

Maybe if it had been a print book, but as an ebook it was too difficult to refer back and forth through the information. I gave up.
