Bug's creepy-crawly insect friends need rescuing from the evil widow Queen Cadavra's clutches. Fight your way through six worlds to rescue them and find and defeat the spider queen. There are three levels to get through in each world of 3D platform action. Bug's key attack is his bug bounce but he can also somersault, spit and zap when powered up. The game also includes some simple puzzle elements.

This is a great game. I haven't played it in years, but i still own the cd. The levels are huge, and there are power ups u can get which makes the game very fun. The bosses are fun and challaging to beat, the best part i love about this game is there is a bonus where u have to race sonic to win a prize...i recomind this to any one who got kids..the color and sound effect and music are great.

This is a very fun filled action packed game. What you have to do is rescue your family from an evil giant spider. You must fight your way through creepy crawly grasshoppers, dung beetles, ear wigs, ect. There are different levels in different enviorments. There are three parts in each level. At the end of each part you jump onto a bench with a sign saying bug stop. At the end of the third part of each level you have to fight a boss. Usually they are giant versions of other bugs or an actual animal. After you beat the boss, you will see a small movie clip showing you free a member of your family and moving to a different enviorment. You go through this until you beat the third part of the last level. After this you actually fight Queen Cadavra. After you beat her the game ends. I knocked a point off the rating overall because you can get stuck in tricky parts of the level and if you devote a good amount of time to the game you could beat it pretty quickly. The good thing is that it is pretty fun to replay. There are also minigames throughout the levels. Your weapons are: The ability to spit, to zap and to jump on things and kill them. There are also a couple of power-ups you can get that allow you to go through bugs to kill them. You get spit in the later levels (I think level three???). There are different types of spit. Green is one shot, orange adds one shot with green so double shot, red is normal double shot and blue, the best, is rapid fire. I think these are all the spit colors but im not positive. Your health is pretty high and you refill it by getting cans of bug juice wich can be found throughout the level. Saves can be found also. There are cheatcodes for the game but you really dont need to use them.The graphics and sound are plenty decent. Overall its an addicting and very fun game.
