I never played New Vegas and being that I enjoy games from Obsidian and Bethesda, it's a no brainer to buy the ultimate edition. Anyone know if this edition is going to be more polished with less bugs? Can't wait to try this game complete with all the DLC

The New Vegas Ultimate Edition release is the original game plus all the DLC packs and the preorder bonuses (all 4) that came with the game depending on which retailer (at least $65 of content if bought individually). And yes, the game has been thoroughly patched by Bethesda. You might run into an occasional glitch, but that's the nature of the games from Bethesda because of the engine they use. Just use multiple save files and you'll be fine.

It has the latest patch but people are still reporting freezing and alot of it...so again I am holding off of a game I have really wanted to play but not if it remains broke.

I personally have not had any problems with the Ultimate Edition since release. I'm playing on an older Xbox 360 (bought about 5 or 6 months after release). I've never played FONV before this.

Your review does not show you purchased it from Amazon. Do you even have the game?

Yes, I do own the game. I originally had it pre-ordered on Amazon but cancelled when I saw it was only $40 at Kmart.

Don't worry, you didn't miss that much of a savings. The difference was only $6.14 after the tax+shipping cost.
