This book paid for itself in its first lesson, fixing lead changes...it worked straight from the start. AWESOME.

I have really enjoyed this book. It has simple, straightforward exercises I can do on my own.

After some bad experiences, this book has really helped me move forward.

I would just like more exercises to build upon.

The best book ever written for the average rider. Simple, concise and yet well explained. I thought it was so good I bought a copy for my sixteen year old niece.

This book has graduated exercises that slowly step you from poles on the ground to riding lines. The explanations are easy to understand and the diagrams for the jumps are very simple.

There are photos that show the wrong way and correct way which are very helpful. All the jumping exercises have several photos so you can see what each exercise should look like.

Would recommend this to anyone as a good beginning to jump book. Would especially recommend this for anyone who has had a bad scare.

This book is the best book I've ever read on training green hunters. The title implies 'building confidence in the rider,' but to me, it has excellent tips on bringing along a green horse. I literally have worked through it like a workbook. I've retrained green hunters for years and found this more helpful than many trainers I have worked with. Well worth the $25.
