This is a new type game for me. You are hired by the mayor of towns and have buildings and homes to get built quickly. It is like real life. You have to buy materials and hire construction workers. If you don't meet the goal on time you cannot go on to the next level.

I find it quite fun as a 53 yr old woman. You earn a living and can only buy as much as your income allows...no credit cards. LOL

The only con I see is that the print size on the top screen is small. The backgorund is light blue and that helps but if you have any visual problems this may be a difficult game for you without a magnifying glass. Just wanted to note that for those who have trouble with small print.

This game is good for I'd say 9 to 99 yrs old. A whole new type of game.

I purchased this game for the DS because I loved the Build A Lot games for PC. When I started playing this game I noticed that it is alittle different from the PC version. The downfall to this game is when you start to build something you have to hit the OK button or it will not do anything. I really don't care for that addition to the game. (thats why I gave it only 4 stars.) If you like the PC version of the game, this game is pretty much the same has some different additions from the newer PC version Build A Lot games, but overall its still a great game to play on the DS.

This is a really fun game where you are hired by the mayor of the town to build houses and buildings. You have lots of goals to achieve and a time limit to complete them. You can also play casually where you have no time limit. I find this game very challenging and fun. You have to try different strategies to get past the levels. I would definately recommend it!

I loved this product. It was easy to learn; challenging to play and totally engrossing. I couldn't put it down. Can't wait for Build A Lot 2!

i ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GAME. IT IS SO FUN AND I AM 41 YEARS OLD AND A WOMAN. IT IS VERY CHALLENGING TO FIGURE OUT EACH LEVEL WHICH IS A NEIGHBORHOOD. NOT SO HARD IT CANT BE DONE BUT HARD ENOUGH TO WHERE SOME OF THEM TAKE A FEW TRIES. TOTALLY ADDICTIVE. I HAVE GONE THROUGH THE ENTIRE THING AND I WILL DEFINATELY START OVER.

I really love this game! It's really fun. The only downside is that, two days into it, I've finished all but the last level! There is a casual game that I haven't started, though. You can also go back and replay levels to try to get better scores.

I was very excited to receive this game because I could not put Cake Mania 2 down and I am in the building industry. I really enjoyed the game but I did not find it super challenging. If you build the biggest properties possible and own a bank you can reach your goals. Once I figured that I out I finished the game in no time.

Bought this as a gift for my wife who was playing a limited version online. She loved it.

I bought this game for my 9 year old son and he absolutley loves it! I too play the game and it's a lot of fun!! I wish they'd come out with another one!

Loved it! Very addicting! Highly recommend. Can't wait for a Build-A-Lot 2.
