I would skip this book unless you are interested in dated literature. I purchased the book for chicken coop designs to aide in building a small chicken coop, and found really old designs for large quanitities of chickens. Also, the designs are hard to understand and blurry. If you are a builder, you may understand the designs but I am a girl who is looking for a simple design I can follow. Some of the literature is helpful if you want to read it, as the basics for raising chickens has changed very little. I should have spent the money and purchased the "chciken Coops for Dummies."
