Pluggola for Net.Genesis products,

This book isn't about Internet commerce, it's
about building a case for the use of Net.Genesis
products. Ironically, most of these products
have been canned since the book went into print.
This book misses many important points about Internet commerce such as credit card verification and clearing, secure storage of customer info, etc. About the only point that they hit related to commerce is SSL and certificates. It also only focuses on the use of Windows NT as a server platform. The only reason I didn't return this book is that it does contain detailed information on three of the leading Web server software packages for Windows NT, Netscape Commerce Server, Microsoft IIS, and O'Reilly Website. |
