Great album, but to be honest, I would not suggest this as a "first listen" for those who are new to Weird Owl. I'd suggest Ever The Silver Cord Be Loosed or Nuclear Psychology instead. Beast just isn't as powerful as the other two albums in my opinion, it's mind-blowing but not as consistently mind-blowing if you know what I mean.

That said, this album is worth every penny to hear poetic songs like Tiny Sleeping Animals, Skin the Dawn, Two-Headed Brother, and Mountains on Top of Buried Stars - awesome awesome songs. A good composition overall. I'd still heartily recommend it to fans of psychedelic rock.
