Very practical handbook for the do-it-yourself type who wants to save money and enjoy pride in self-construction.
I find the instructions easy to follow and it is the perfect new amenity for my river-front cabin.

Even if you're not building your own sauna, this is a must-read. Concise, to the point, it gives you a sense of the history and the fundamentals of the sauna or sweat-lodge. Just learning the Finnish words is a kick, but more importantly it gives you a sense of the hows, whys and traditions. It's applicable not only for do-it-yourselfers but for anyone who is contemplating buying or having a sauna built. Highly recommended.
