5.0 out of 5 stars Great Build-a-lot Game!
I've played them all and this one is really fun. There is a lot of strategy to the game, especially in the higher levels. The noisy neighbors always make me laugh and restoring rundown houses was pretty cool as well. The higher levels get tough. The passport feature made it really easy to go back and replay levels to try to get the expert time. This game is truly...

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun by itself, but not enough new content
Build-a-lot 3 is quite similar to the first two games in the series. The object, as always, is to build, upgrade, and sell houses to make a profit and meet a series of neighborhood goals. In and of itself, this is a fun time-managment game. If you've already played the first two in this series, however, there's not a tremendous amount of original content in v. 3. This...

3. This game is set in Europe, whereas the first two are set in the US, but it's just not all that substantially different. So, the game itself is fun, but don't expect much change from the earlier Build-a-Lots.

Build a lot 3 was the game that kept me company during my flu and was an enjoyable diversion. Game over 45 levels builds on what one can do and offers multiple restrictions. Perfect for one who's not interested in Action.

1.0 out of 5 stars didn't work, January 14, 2012

I should have tried the trial version first. There goes a few bucks I won't see again. It wouldn't get past the first screen. It should have worked. Oh well.

I love this game. I enjoy the challenge of trying to beat the clock as I race to complete the building goals for each level.

This is a Great game for relaxing after a long day at work. You can challenge yourself without the stress of really taxing your brain. I purchased other Build-A-Lot games but Passport is my favorite. I choose to download the game because did not want to wait for delivery and was not disappointed. Download was quick easy and installed properly. Will download all my games from Amazon from now on.

OK, with Build-a-lot 1 & 2 completed, I went for #3. It just gets better & better. Once you've played these over & over to achieve expert status, you feel you're ready for the next game. So onward to #4. Again a 4.5!

In the beginning there was a lot, then the lot was improved upon. after my wife made me stop wearing my hard hat while i played the game, it wasn't as fun after that. losing your job because of playing this game for too long is bad and my unemployment check barely covers my daily steak and beverages.

This game is okay for wasting an evening. You'll be sick of it after a few hours of gameplay, and will probably have beat it, but it's worth the few dollars it costs.
