This game made me feel like I could go out and flip a house with out spending any money. I felt like there was more variety to the game than what the other review mentioned. I enjoyed the career mode because the game really went along with how you would deal with flipping a house in real life. Also the different style homes that I was able to build and all the different challenges made this game worth every penny.
A little word-of-mouth to who ever reads this review, this game is addicting and extremely fun I highly recommend you buy this game and give it a shot; I played the trial version at Mumbo Jumbo and then ended up buying it. I would say try the trial first. By the end of the game you might feel like you can go out and do this in real life.

MAMBO JUMBO has developed a number of great games (ZUMA springs to mind!). Unfortunately, this one is not one of them...

You get to choose the lot, decide on what type of house to built, take or reject the incoming offers. Repeat. For as long as you can take it. Well, I could not take it for long as it got pretty old. Fast.

This is an example of what has come to be known as Casual Gaming: small, resource-flexible games that are fun for the whole family. It would not be a bad idea to download the 60-min trial version from a casual games site, such as REFLEXIVE (you can Google it), and decide for yourself whether this is indeed your cup of tea.

There are not many Casual RTS games, so I was more than willing to cut BUILD-A-LOT some slack. However, there are much better Real Estate games which, being some years old, make a far better deal.

I love this game. It has two modes. I havent tried the casual mode but the career mode is fun. I think once you complete it tho, it is not one you would go back to over and over.

Got this as a demo on my laptop. My kid loves it but when you go to buy the "full" version online it's like $20!!!!! What a rip! Not only that but it's a digital download that can only go on the one computer. Went to Amazon and got the FULL VERSION CD for 1/3 the price! YEA Amazon. Thank you for making my kid happy (and keeping my wallet fat!)

Pretty simple game, I played it first on MSN Games and wanted to buy it. This particular Copy will install on a Windows 7 64BIT Pro Machine as well as the vista machine that i have. Excellent investment especially if you are one of those gamers that likes the Simulation type games.

I love this game, all of the Buld A Lot games are great games. I only had one issue with this game, if you are just starting a new level and click 'quit and save' before everything loads (time clock, goals, money, ect.) when you go back to start your career from where you left off you go right to that same screen with no time clock, goals, money ect so you can't play because it won't load up. Please keep that in mind if you buy this game. A great game though and I love it even with that one small flaw :)

This is a fun game for starters but doesn't really have the bells and whistles of the later games. But hey- less than $5 with s/h and it was a nice Christmas present to myself and I can deal with that. No difficulty in letting my niece or nephew play as there is no questionable material, bad language, violence, or sudden nudity shots so I consider it outstanding for that as well.

Bought as a gift. Great price and can't beat the free shipping. I was suprised at how cool this game really is. It's played with a lot and will probably buy the build a lot 2 next.

Haven't gotten a chance to play it for 2 days because the ol lady can't stop playing. It's obviously addictive so, Great Game!!!!

We love it. It's a nice clean, non violent game. It even teaches the kids a few things like the value of a dollar, saving your money, planning ahead, and to spend your money wisely. It gives you a bit of a challenge too.
