My boys 2 and 4 love this book. It is a great take on conventional nursery rhymes. Each son knows every rhyme by heart. We have had this book for over four months and we still "read" it every day. It is a fun book that your children will love and start reading to you. Perfect for a child who loves construction!

Our 3-year old son loves this book! What a wonderful idea to combine construction vehicles with nursery rhymes! We already bought multiple copies for family and friends with little ones. This was definitely a great purchase!

This book is one of my two-year-olds favorites. We originally saw it at the library and he loved it so much we had to buy our own copy. It is a great combination of songs + trucks. The first time you read it, you have to figure out which nursery rhyme is being used so you know the tune/rhythm, then it's very fun.

Truly terrific book! VERY well-written, very well-drawn.

Appealing to toddler and preschool boys and girls. An interest in construction will make the book extra enjoyable, but I think any child this age would enjoy the interesting writing (who doesn't love verse?!!) and fun illustrations.

Our 12-month old son was already familiar with nearly all of the songs/rhymes in the book, but I think he would like the book equally well if that were not the case. I find it easier, as the primary reader, being familiar with the songs/rhymes. My husband is less familiar so just reads the ones he does not know as poems; that works fine for baby and reader in our family.

Enthusiastic 5-star rating from parents, older sibling and target audience-age son!
