My daughter got this game for Christmas and we all love it! It's very simple to play, requires no reading and entails two things that all kids (and men) like-construction and destruction! Simply put, you line the board up with tons of plastic I-beams. Spin the spinner and start collecting enough I-beams to build a 3 story tower first and win. The fun part is with the electronic Scoop. If you get him, you pick him up and he starts to spin. Then you drop him on the board. Sometimes he gets you 2 or 3 I-beams at once. Other times, he knocks down a tower (even your own.) The first one to get to three floors gets to put a ceiling with Pilcher the cat on top. You win! But the best part is using Scoop to demolish your tower after the game. The game can be played by any one with just a little finger dexterity and old enough to comprehend the object of the game. We highly recommend this one.

My 3 year old got this game for Christmas, and it's a really good game. It not only holds his interest, but also that of my step sons (13 & 15). After a few minutes, my husband even joined in the game, and that never happens!

My 3 year old loves to play the game, or just play with Scoop to knock down the towers he builds.

I thought it wouldn't amount to much of a game but my son loves Bob and Scoop.
I was delighted to find the game exceptionally well made, simple yet interesting to play for my son and me AND it came with a nice, well built good-sized mechanical (ie battery operated) SCOOP!
If your child is a BTB fan, he or she will love it. Simple build em up and knock it down rules, a bit of coordination to set Scoop down in the right direction, includes safe large pieces, quality cardboard board game and spinner.

THIS GAME IS NOT FOR 8-12 YEARS; MY BOX SAYS "4 AND UP", AND BELIEVE ME THE TODDLERS CAN DEFINITELY PLAY THIS - MY 3-YEAR-OLD DID, AND LOVES IT!
THIS IS THE GREATEST BOARD GAME FOR LITTLE GUYS I'VE EVER PLAYED. FOR SOMETHING SO EASY TO LEARN IT SURE IS NOT BORING LIKE SO MANY OTHERS, LIKE CHUTES AND LADDERS, CANDYLAND, CRANIUM CARABOO, HUNGRY HIPPOS, WEAR THIN IN NO TIME FOR ADULTS. (SOMETIMES I FEEL IM GONNA FALL ASLEEP).
THIS ONE'S DIFFERENT AND FUN - THE SCOOP SPINS AROUND WHEN YOU PICK IT UP FROM THE TOP AND THEN YOU DROP IT ON THE CENTER OF THE BOARD BUT YOU DONT KNOW WHICH DIRECTION ITS GO TO DRIVE; IT WILL EITHER HIT INTO CEMENT BEAMS (THE ONES THAT GET PUSHED OFF THE BOARD YOU GET TO KEEP, TO CONSTRUCT YOUR OWN BULDING WITH. (BUILD 3 FLOORS AND YOU WIN :-) oR SCOOP MAY CRASH INTO SOMEONES BUILDING- EVEN YOUR OWN- OH NO!) :-o iT WILL NOT ALWAYS KNOCK IT DOWN, SOMETIMES PART OF, IT SOMETIMES THE WHOLE THING.
THE KIDS I'VE PLAYED WITH GET REALLY ENTHUSIASTIC (INSTEAD OF DISAPPOINTED THEY DIDN'T GET TO THE END FIRST) I THINK THEY LIKE TO SEE THE BUILDING COME DOWN. PERSONALLY I LIKE IT WHEN THEY GET KNOCKED DOWN TOO.

My son is an intelligent three year old who loves Bob the Builder but for some reason this game just hasn't clicked with him at all - maybe when he gets a little older?... The past reviewers said that it was fun for all ages which is why we purchased it for Christmas; however, it just seems boring to me and my son. Maybe if there were other kids his age or older to play with...

My daughter (3 at the time) picked this game out when she was at the store with Granny. I thought it didn't look like something she would like, but she insisted that that was what she wanted, so I let her get it. As soon as we got home, she and her brother (he was 5) started playing with it. They loved it! In fact,one and a half years later they still love it!!

This is a good, fun game and educational, too. They have to use their fine motor skills while stacking their towers so it doesn't fall down (but if it does they can just build it back up, there is no "penalty" for it falling... unless Scoop knocks it down!).

The only little problem I've found with the game is that the winning piece with the cat on top keeps coming apart, but it can be easily fixed again. This is a minor thing! Overall, this is a terrific game, and I am very glad that my daughter insisted on getting it instead of something else!!
