Editorial Reviews

The Home Gunsmith AR-15 Project  reveals all the steps involved in building your own AR-15 style rifle from a basic parts kit and a 0% raw aluminum forging. The end result is a hand made rifle that you can be proud of.

You may think you know the AR-15 now, but wait until you watch this video. You will get to see how the receiver is actually MADE not just assembled. This is the video everyone is talking about.

Here’s what you’re going to see:
· Tool selection
· Machine set-ups
· Measurements
· Broaching the magwell in your garage the simple way
· Cutting the fire control area
· Threading the buffer tube area
· bead blasting
· Applying the finish
· much much more over 2 hours of video

5.0 out of 5 stars Machining a 0% forging, March 14, 2005
This review is from: Building an AR-15 from a 0% Forging (DVD)
This DVD is perfect for those wanting to machine a lower from a 0% forging. All the information you will need to know is in this DVD and is written from a non machinist point of view, so those with not a lot of experience can follow along and successfully complete this part.

I highly recommend it.
