    Book Description

So there I was, enjoying those college years, drinking, partying, wearing the same clothes several days in a row. Cleaning my room meant throwing stuff off my bed onto the floor. Laundry was handled by the compression method. The weight of the clothes on top of the pile cleaned the clothes on the bottom. The sink had been full of dishes since the second day of the semester, and don’t even mention the bathroom.

    Those were Man years.

No parents to yell at me, no wife to nag me, and certainly no children to provide for. I lived as our ancestors had, as a wild animal, responsible only for my own survival. I cleaned nothing, I laughed at responsibility, and I left the toilet seat up. I answered to no man.

So then why am I currently walking around my house, picking up Littlest Pet Shop toys while a potty-training two-year-old yells from the bathroom, “Daddy, I NEED you,” a twelve-year-old volleyball star wants to know where she left her court shoes, and a ten-year-old artist wants my opinion of her latest masterpiece? All while listening to their mother tell me a story of her day at work.

    What the heck happened?

    This is my story.

A true coming of age story. The road from boyhood to becoming a man is fraught with many difficulties and distractions. Superheroes. Video games. Sports. Girls. It's a wonder they escape with their wits intact. Mr. Osborn gives us a hilarious yet tender peek inside the mind of one such man. From learning the ropes of communicating with a woman to learning how to entertain and raise three beautiful daughters, this writer has his work cut out for him. Thank you for telling a story we can all relate to and still laugh at!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fatherhood at its finest! August 26, 2014
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
If there was a class that men should take before becoming a father, this should be required reading. An insightful, funny and most of all, heartfelt look into raising children the right way. The writing flows effortlessly, and consistently keeps the reader's attention throughout. Any guy(or girl for that matter) who has grown up in the last 30 years will appreciate the constant barrage of pop culture references, and how seamlessly they are interwoven into the story. Here's hoping for a sequel!

5.0 out of 5 stars postive feedback on book June 11, 2014

this book was written by a local author that I know,I would recommend this book as a satirical look at what's it's like becoming a new dad. A very true & interesting point at what's it like being single and getting married and starting a family. You will definetly say after reading this "yeah that happened to me". Buy this book.
