About the Author
Pat Covert is recognized as a leading authority on car modeling and is the author of countless magazine articles as well as books such as The Modeler’s Guide to Scale Automotive Finishes, Building Better Scale Model Cars and Trucks, and Basics of Scale Automotive Modeling: Getting Started in the Hobby. He has been building model cars for over 40 years and has won many national and regional awards, including Best of Show Auto champion at the IPMS (International Plastic Modelers Society) Nationals in 1991. Covert lives in Birmingham, Alabama.

This book is a collection of these three books with some little new tips. The book has many good information and tecniques for the car modeler and saves money for 3 in 1 book price.Recomended

For a small book there are some very neat projects in it! What I especialy liked was that many of the project cars were fairly ordinary kits that I would likely have overlooked when wanting to buy a model car. One project was building a beater. It was magnificent! Great photos and clear insructions! A very good buy!
