Be one of the people building the iron,
By Jeff Solley (New Galilee, PA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Building Giant Earthmovers (ColorTech) (Paperback)
Eric does a very good job of using pictures with people or cars in them to show the scale of just the small parts of these machines. You will be taken on a pictorial journey of the assembly process of some of the worlds largest earthmovers. Each chapter brings a different type of machine covering many makes. If one particular machine is featured there is always equal time to the other manufacturers. You are not lead to believe that what is in the book is the biggest or best of that type of machine. If another manufacturer has built something larger or just a little different it is mentioned or shown. Very fair and unbiased account of all machines. Eric manages to find some of the best pictures in the earthmoving industry that you will ever see. Add this book to your earthmoving library.
