Dry and boring black and white text. I did like the phonetic approach to spelling. These are very similar to Spelling Workout. The word lists are advanced and reminded me of Abeka's. There are daily activities leading up to a test on day 5. 36 lessons total. 20 words on each list. Each book gets increasingly difficult.
