The book is complete, and well written. I would recomend it to any kids in school. I would like to see a follow up with a larger scale sized one with complete plans. This book is perfect and will allow any person to make a turbine. Complete plans, defenitions etc.

I found this book to be thorough although very basic. I expected some deeper information on the subject but overall am satisfied with the purchase.

This little booklet will apeal a big deal to those "Do-it-yourself'ers" like myself. The text and drawings are self explanatory and stright forward. Anyone with some experience in machining can obtain great results at building this turbine as it is in the text, or with minor modifications enlarge or reduce it following your needs as Tesla did. Its good for the beginner looking for basic information of the Tesla turbine. Its not technical manual so do not expect how to make a Tesla engine from a local hardware store.

I am a hobbist who recently got into building model engines. I have purchased many of Gingeries books through Lindsay Publishing. It is written for the lay person as well as the expert. Instead of trying to impress you with his genuis his genuis is that the entire book is lay out with step by step well thought out steps.

The book itself is an interesting read, providing facts about Nikola Tesla and his turbine. The only problem is that it should be his turbine in the drawings, not a simplified model. The simplified descriptions as well, make it hard to apreciate his true genius.
