I am frequently asked to recommend teaching material. The one series I recommend is the Building Thinking Skills. My children have had great success expanding their critical thinking abilities because of them. I have spent a lot of time reviewing teaching material, and I can honestly say that this is a superior product.

This is a great book for kids to learn how to think logically and also great for building the spacial recognization ability.

The problems are fun to do so kids won't feel the pressure, yet they learn so much which are not taught in regular schools.

This book has a comprehensive collection of exercises for Reading, Writing, Math, and Science. It challenges the kids to think.

This is a very good book. Even if you teach kids at home with your own material, you will miss some of the things in this book.

I am a homeschoolimg mom of 6 kids for 10 years. Building Thinking Skills is an exceptional program for kids to think logically. It is good prep for SAT and other testing. My kids enjoy it and ask to do several pages a day. It is a very LARGE book and will take a good school year to get through.

The book that I ordered was in good condition, but I was expecting the blue book pictured on amazon's page when I searched for the item. The blue book shown actually has all the problems along with the answers. The book I received was an entirely different cover, and has no answers. Amazon needs to put up a picture of the book 2 cover, not the level 2 cover for this item. The picture is misleading and now I'll have to go through the hassle of ordering the book that I actually wanted, and I've wasted my money on the one I didn't want.

My son who is a newly 2nd grader really enjoy the book. He went through 1/3 of the book in one night make me also believe that this book might be for 1-3 grade rather than 4-7 graders. He did REALLY enjoy the book

My second grader finds it easy to do the workouts in this book. So, I don't believe it is 4th - 6th grade standard, like it claims. Anyways, if your child loves patterns, symmetry, homonyms etc, or to solve puzzles in general, then get this book. It is good brain exercise for those rainy days!

Nice one, great product which will help to gain more knowledge as you finish the book.

With the world changing so rapidly, we are teaching children who may probably have jobs that haven't been invented yet. So what better to teach them how to think and reason?
This one is for the thinking clas, teacher and school.
The book for younger students is also beneficial.
