5.0 out of 5 stars My third-graders spatial skills were not well developed., July 6, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Building Thinking Skills : Book 1 : Critical Thinking Skills for Reading, Writing, Math, and Science (Paperback)
She used to go ballistic when she had to mentally form a three-dimensional object from a two-dimensional image. After doing the Building Thinking Skills Book 1, she says it's a breeze. Her nonverbal scores used to be low. Now they're higher than her verbal, which were already high. Her creativity and problem solving have also blossomed since she started using these materials.

5.0 out of 5 stars So Fun, June 2, 2006
This review is from: Building Thinking Skills : Book 1 : Critical Thinking Skills for Reading, Writing, Math, and Science (Paperback)
My whole family loved this book. I had as much fun as my 5-year-old. It was easy enough for my youngest while still challenging my oldest(8). I love these books and will be purchasing the whole set.

This review is from: Building Thinking Skills : Book 1 : Critical Thinking Skills for Reading, Writing, Math, and Science (Paperback)
This book is wonderful! As every adult knows, analyzing a situation can be critical for success. This book, gently coaches young children not at all on what to think, but HOW to think. If you know you have over compensated with your child/children buy this book so they can learn to think and act on their own.
