5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book!!!!, February 1, 2010

I ordered this book for my 7-year-old who was doing very well on standardized tests, but overall did not employ creative thinking skills. This book has taught her to break down problems to find step-by-step solutions and taught her to verbalize what she could already think through but had difficulty putting into words. Best of all, she loves to complete the exercises; she sees the book as a tool that makes learning fun. This book is an excellent tool, I highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars wonderful way to make your kids think!!!, April 23, 2010

Between tv, video games and mind numbing worksheets that kids get at school, it seems like there is not much out there that actually teaches children how to think. This book is a wonderful tool to help kids practice this absolutely necessary skill. My son has lots of fun with it and is actually using his brain! I am very impressed with this book and recommend it to all parents, whether or not they are preparing their kids for some sort of academic testing!

5.0 out of 5 stars For kids who love workbooks, November 5, 2010

If your child likes to do workbooks (my four year old can't get enough of them) your child will like this book. I know that the grade level is 2nd or 3rd grade, but it does such a good job of breaking down and explaining concepts that much younger children can benefit from this book too.
